Wolves curlers qualify again for provincial finals

The Timberline Wolves boys curling team has won the Island division and has qualified for provincials for the fourth time in five years.

The Timberline Wolves boys curling team has won the Island division and has qualified for provincials for the fourth time in five years.

The team, skipped by Rob Vlaj, third Blake Heemskerk, second Travis Hartling and lead Chris Vlaj, will compete for the provincial championship March 10-12 in Richmond.

The Wolves won the Island title the hard way coming out of the B-side and having to beat the Francis Kelsey Croteau rink 5-3 and then won 8-2 on Sunday to advance to provincials.
