The We Wai Kai First Nation has reached a two-year agreement with Mosaic Forest Management to undertake collaborative planning and timber harvesting within We Wai Kai territory.

The agreement builds on the partnership established in 2022 between Mosaic and Way Key LP, as well as a more recent agreement between We Wai Kai and Mosaic in 2023. The services will take place within We Wai Kai territory on Quadra Island and in Jackson Bay on the mainland.
