Vera Margaret
Born Campbell River Hospital, October 15th, 1956 died March 7th, 2002.
Beloved daughter of John Arthur Robinson - deceased 1981.
Survived by mother Naida Matilda May Robinson of Comox; brothers John(Penny) Arthur Robinson, and Glenn Cooper Robinson; niece and nephews Chad, Jodie & John “Todd” Robinson; and Michael Armstrong, her husband for 21 years; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Vera attended schooling in Black Creek Elementary, Tsolum, Courtenay Jr. and Vanier. She was a dedicated employee of Fletcher Challenge, and then Norske Skog Canada as a production planner, paper division, in Campbell River and Vancouver. Vera lived all her life in Black Creek on Macaulay Road and Martin Park Drive.
She was a country girl who loved the rural setting; peace, quiet and nature. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and co-workers.
A Celebration of Vera’s Life will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2002 at 1:00p.m. in Piercy’s Funeral Home, Courtenay, with Reverend Ray Brandon officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
