Vancouver Island pop star Lauren Spencer-Smith up for three Juno awards

Singer nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year

Vancouver Island’s Lauren Spencer-Smith will appear once again at Canada’s biggest night of music.

The singer has received three Juno award nominations, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The 20-year-old’s debut album, Mirror, which was released in July, was nominated for Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year. The singer-songwriter herself was nominated for Artist of the Year award again, this year going up against the likes of heavy hitters Shania Twain, Daniel Caesar, Charlotte Cardin and Tate McRae.
