In loving memory of Trudy Perkins, a loving wife, mum, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Predeceased by her parents, in-laws, 4 brothers, 6 sisters, and brothers/sistesrs-in-law.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Bill, daughter Tina, son Kevin (Lisa) and 5 grandkids (Zachary, Joshua, Jessica, Darian (Jenna) and Larisa), 1 great-grandchild (Dreyden), 1 sister (Lillian) and many more family and friends.
Trudy came to Campbell River in 1964 as a newlywed and fell in love with coast. She was an avid outdoors person either picking or buying wild mushrooms since 1985, where she made many lifelong friends. For the last 25 years, she has been plagued by many illnesses but fought them straight on with all she had, her family always by her side.
She left us all peacefully on November 2 2023, two days before her 80th Birthday. She will always be remembered but never forgotten. May you be lovingly embraced with your family on the farm. Rest in peace, until we are together again.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Trudy's honour to the charity of your choice. The family will hold a gathering to celebrate Trudy in the spring.
