In Loving Memory ~
Our hearts are broken to share with you that we lost our much-loved Todd in a tragic accident at work.
Todd is survived by a large loving family; wife Anne Marie, son Tyson (Liz, and grandsons Cohen and Caden), son Nolan (Emma), and daughter Jordyne (Cody); brother Colin (Shannon, and nieces Carlin and Sophie); father Albert and mother Jean (Peter); and many aunts, uncles and cousins of the Fair, Forester, Morrison, Goodman and Fauchon families.
Todd also leaves behind a very close group of loving long-time friends.
Todd was predeceased by his darling granddaughter baby Ella; grandparents Edna and Roy Forester, Lloyd Fair, Pansy (Keith) Eddington; aunts June Fauchon and Joyce Goodman; and cousins Mike and James Goodman.
Todd was a very kind, caring, fun-loving, talented person with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humour. There was always lots of love and laughter among all of us that surrounded Todd and we will miss him immensely.
When Todd was young, many happy times were spent with his mom, dad and brother Colin and other relatives on family property in Bute Inlet. Also, salmon fishing local waters, camping at Morton Lake, and Rathrevor and Miracle Beaches were favourite multiple family activities. In later years, Muchalat Lake was the chosen place for a large fun filled gathering each summer. Most recently, many great times were had cruising on his and Anne Marie's boat.
Growing up Todd enjoyed playing soccer and softball and especially riding his dirt bike with his brother and cousins. When he was on the Robron Wrestling Team he was very successful in high school tournaments, B.C. Winter Games and a Canadian Tournament in Ontario. He won many gold medals and trophies including a trophy for the most outstanding wrestler in B.C.
As an adult, he helped to coach the Robron Wrestling Team. Todd was a great supporter of Tyson and Nolan in lacrosse and Jordyne in hockey. He helped on the bench and to coach Jordyne's hockey team.
Two weeks ago, Todd and Anne Marie travelled to Sicamous to have a wonderful weekend with Tyson, Liz, Cohen and Caden and were so happy to see Cohen's first hockey game. His sweet, young grandkids were the light of Todd's life.
Todd loved to work with wood. He built beautiful burl tables and in his backyard, an amazing gazebo from logs and shakes that is well-used in all seasons. In the middle is a huge firepit over which he cooked delicious meals that were happily consumed by his family and friends in this special spot. Many hockey games were watched outdoors on the wall-mounted TV in the gazebo. Lots of laughter was always in the air.
Todd was well respected in the forest industry. Recently he was enjoying driving a logging truck on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
We will remember the good times with our wonderful Todd and will continue to retell the funny stories that were so much a part of our life with him. We will keep Todd tucked deep in our hearts until we meet again on the beautiful shore. We love you so much Todd and words cannot express how much we will miss you forever.
Our family is very thankful to everyone for their love, kindness and support at this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life for Todd will be held at the Eagles Hall, 1999-14th Ave., Campbell River on Saturday, December 16/23 at 11 am. (doors open at 10 am)
