The art gallery should be tax exempt. It brings a bit of culture to this area and could be a place for local artists to display and even sell some of their art.
To blame the gallery for the houseless problem in the downtown core is simply wrong. The city should be helping to solve the problem. Was there ever a survey/study done to see why there are so many houseless people and what their background is?
Given the huge amount of land and buildings that belong to the local indigenous people, maybe they could step in and give a helping hand.
