When you do something day-in, day-out, year after year, you can sometimes lose sight of what’s obvious to you but unknown to others.
My job for example. Putting a paper together week after week makes some things become repetitious and you end up taking them for granted. Our paper’s deadlines, for example, are second nature to me, even though they’re one of the single most determinants of what I do each and every day.
