Support the Special Olympians

The Special Olympics crew will be at McDonald’s raising pledges for the next few weeks.

For the third consecutive year, local athletes will take part in a Walk-A-Thon to raise money for travel to and from the several B.C. communities which host Special Olympics programs year-round.

The group raised $5,050 last year and John Dawson, chair of the Walk-A-Thon, says this year the goal is to beat that total.
