SRD wants feedback for poverty reduction planning

Regional district holding community info sessions in coming weeks

The Strathcona Regional District is developing a plan to reduce the impact of poverty in local communities.

The plan is being developed in partnership with the City of Campbell River and the Campbell River and District Coalition to End Homelessness. The SRD will also be collaborating with other government agencies and organizations.

According to a release from the Strathcona Regional District, the goal of the plan is to “create a clear path froward to improve living conditions and increase the opportunities available to those living in poverty.
