Dear Mayor and Council Members,
In reviewing your recent decision by amendment to rescind Tax Exemption status to two non-profit organizations deemed “eligible” for such support, I find it most curious that you would then, again by amendment, provide 50 per cent Tax Exemption to an organization deemed “ineligible” by the selection committee.
In moving to provide Storey Creek Golf Course with 50 per cent coverage you have simply taken funding from two “eligible” non-profit social organizations and moved it to the “ineligible” organization.
