Close to $90 million is in the ledger for Campbell River’s school district.
A total amended budget of $89,912,205 has been approved by the School District 72’s board at their meeting on Feb. 27.
“Our total budget when people ask is 89 million, almost 90, so yeah it’s a big budget,” says Kevin Patrick, the district’s treasurer-secretary and CFO. “This budget includes our operating (costs), it includes capital and it includes special purpose funds or targeted funds.
