The Merville Hall is going to be putting on a Robbie Burns dance on Jan. 27.
Burns, known as the Bard of Scotland and the Great Chieftain of the puddin’-race, will be honoured at the Robbie Burns Contra dance on Jan. 27 at Merville Hall. There, the Fiddlers will play for folks’ dancing pleasure while hairy legged, kilted Scotsmen and Scotswomen swirl about the floor shaking their thistles and spurtles.
