Campbell River will look a little shinier these days after athletes brought home two gold medals and two bronze medals.
Several athletes from the Campbell River area travelled to Calgary for the 2024 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, held from Feb. 27 to March 2.
Hazen Meade came in fourth place in the 400-metre snowshoeing event’s Division 7, finishing with a time of 01:49.004.
