In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard McCay on September 28th, 2023 at the North Island hospital in Campbell River, British Columbia.
Rich was a beloved husband to Susan, father to Chris (Kim), and Blake (Kelly) grandfather to Bradley, Shelby, Tianna, Keegan, Jacob, Ashton and Tylie, and loving companion to his dog, Ellie. Rich was pre-deceased by his son, Quinton, and sister, Janet. Rich was well known to the community through his service at Rich's Auto Collision since 1980. He was a friend to many throughout the community and touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
A funeral service was held in Richard's honour at the Campbell River St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Friday, October 6th, 2023, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, to honour Richard's memory, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
