People who live in the north end of the city, don’t want a new landfill near the former Elk Falls mill, says Gordon Road resident Corinne Matheson.
The owner of Mystic Woods Landscape Design led a public delegation of about 70 people who attended last Thursday’s meeting of the regional district’s Solid Waste Management Board.
“There is little information available about the potential of processing solid waste at the Campbell River mill,” she said, reading from a prepared statement.
