In Loving Memory (1936-2024) ~

Ralph White died peacefully on February 12. His beloved wife Judy held his hand throughout his journey to the end. He leaves behind daughters Shelley and Kimberley, stepdaughters Rosa and Robyn and first wife Molly.

He is predeceased by his son Marc, second wife Shirley, and stepdaughter Lisa.

He was born in Comox to Fred and Dorothy White and grew up in Dove Creek with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. When he was only 16, he lied about this age so he could follow his brothers into the woods to become a logger.

He went from being a whistle punk to owning his own logging trucks and even in retirement continued to hand log. He loved to work hard and to play hard, too: golfing, travelling in his motor home, and "BSing" with friends and family over a beer. There was always a twinkle in his eye and a dog at his side.

His love, his laughter, his irrepressible energy, his sparkle, his work ethic, and his pride in a job well done will continue to be an inspiration to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Ralph's life will be announced later. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Society.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Evergreen for their loving care of Ralph in his last years.
