With sadness, Phyllis's journey ended on October 23, 2023. Phyllis passed away in her home surrounded by people she loved and those who loved her. Her greatest love was her family; her daughters Iola and Siriol, her grandchildren Sanna, Jacob, Dylan, and Lavon, and her great-grandbabies Hayden and Harlow. Her brothers-in-law, Eric & Ger, nieces and nephews and their families in Wales.

She was predeceased by her parents, John & Olive, her two sisters, Marilyn & Margaret, and her daughter Sian.

Phyllis's journey began in the village of Bargoed, Wales. She grew up in a loving family and even though she emigrated to Canada in 1967 she remained extremely close to her Welsh roots.

In her work life, she wore many different hats. Teacher, secretary, businesswoman. She also cared for and home-schooled her grand children.

Our mother was cared for and loved by so many people and we want to thank all that made her last years at home special.
