The recent attempt to remove permissive tax exemptions from the art gallery and overdose prevention site has made me reflect on what it means to be a good neighbor.

Do bad neighbors provide life-saving services? So bad neighbors offer people hope and the opportunity to be creative and productive? If these actions make them bad neighbours, shame on council for allowing classism and racism to drive decision making.
