It’s official: the City of Campbell River, Tyee Marine and the Campbell River Economic Development Corporation (Rivercorp) have created a partnership to nominate and promote Campbell River for the World Fishing Network’s contest “Ultimate Fishing Town Canada 2011.”
“Even if you are busy fishing, take the time to tell everyone why Campbell River is the ‘reel’ Salmon Capital of the World!” says Mayor Charlie Cornfield.
