Local student gets money for hockey and school

A Campbell River student has been awarded a $2,000 hockey scholarship to the the University of Alberta Augustana Campus.

A Campbell River student has been awarded a $2,000 hockey scholarship to the the University of Alberta Augustana Campus. Travis Gordon, of Campbell River, British Columbia, a First Year Bachelor of Science student, was awarded a total of $2,000 for Hockey, funded by The Feth Family Award and An Augustana Faculty Athletic Award in Hockey. He was one of 340 students who have been awarded scholarships and awards for the 2010-2011 academic year from the University of Alberta Augustana Campus, located in Camrose, Alberta.
