The owner of the Tyee Plaza wants encampments removed from Spirit Square and residents of Shady Maples Mobile Home Park want unsupervised camping banned within city limits.

Two letters containing these appeals and other letters about ongoing issues with downtown encampments have prompted city council to direct staff to investigate options to alleviate the issues associated with unsupervised encampments in Spirit Square and Nunns Creek Park.
