The Campbell River Storm failed to make it rain on March 5.

Only scoring one goal, the Storm allowed the Kerry Park Islanders to win Game 5 and take over their quarter-final series in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) playoffs. The final score was 4-1, and the series is now 3-2 in favour of the Islanders.

Jacob Wingfield of the Islanders opened up the scoring with a power play goal in the game’s first two minutes after four players (two from each team) were given 10-minute misconducts before the face-off.
