In Loving Memory ~
Katarzyna was born in Tatarynow, Poland and passed away peacefully in the Campbell River and District Hospital surrounded by her family.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Chester Skalik in 2004 and was the only surviving member of her family of three sisters and a brother.
Kay will be sadly missed by her children, Christine Martin(Leonard), Rick Skalik(Margaret) and Ken Skalik, and her grandchildren Aislin Beaulieu(Steve), Danielle Martin(Chris) and Matthew, Emma, Riley and Elena Skalik.
She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Dexter, Kaelen and Tea.
The family would especially like to thank long time neighbours Bill Turko and son Robbie for keeping an eye on and supporting Mom for these many years. Also thanks to Rita Van Bergen for the support and companionship she gave to Mom.
Lastly, the family would like to thank Dr. Ramsey and the nursing staff of 3C and 3D for their compassionate care of Kay.
