Goodbye to our much-loved, dear sweet husband and father. Thank you for being the gentle soul who always put others first. You showed us what it means to be a kind, compassionate, empathetic human.
We are so grateful to have enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with you, full of amazing memories we will cherish always. You will be in our daily thoughts, tears and laughter.
Ian is survived by his wife, Kathy Grant (Black Creek); daughter Amy Grant (Burnaby); daughter Renee Grant, son-in-law Alex Ibach & grandsons, Matteo and Tristan Grant-Ibach (Campbell River); son, Jordan Wareham and partner Donald Littlewood (Toronto); and daughter Mackenzie Grant and partner Garnet Kehn (Quadra Island). Forever loved.
The family would thank Dr. Rob Ramsey for his personal and professional care of Ian and his grieving family at this difficult time. Thank you to the nurses and support staff on the 3rd floor for the best care and attention over the three weeks that Ian was at the Campbell River Hospital.
Our Duck Toller, Allie, thanks you for the opportunity to say a final goodbye to her beloved companion. Thank you to the Oyster River Volunteer Fire Department for their immediate and professional assistance at the beginning of our sad journey.
