BC Hydro is issuing a public safety notice of higher water flows starting the evening of Feb. 20 within Elk Falls Canyon to assist steelhead in migrating and spawning below Elk Falls.
The safety notice is in place for Elk Falls Canyon area for every Wednesday and Thursday through March 21. The public is asked to stay away from Elk Falls Canyon, especially immediately upstream of Elk Falls, during the migration flows.
