Three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams is coming to Vancouver Island MusicFest.
“We’ve waited a long time for Lucinda,” said Doug Cox, MusicFest artistic director. “She was originally booked for VIMF 2020 which was cancelled due to the pandemic so to finally have her perform at MusicFest is a big deal for us.”
For Cox this is a dream come true.
“She is one of my all-time favourite performers and having her recognized as one of the ‘Greatest Female Songwriters Of All Time’ by American Songwriter, alongside Brandi Carlile, Dolly Parton, Joni Mitchell and Taylor Swift, speaks volumes.
