The sixth annual B.C. 8-Ball Championships was held Feb. 2-6, at the beautiful Lakeside Resort Hotel & Casino in Penticton.
This year the Comox Valley Pool League and Oceanview Billiards of Campbell River teamed up to send 22 players the event.
In the ladies division, Christie Tipper from Oceanveiw Billiard brought home the first place trophy. In Scotch Doubles, Andy Paul of Oceanview finished fifth. There was always a mini-tournament and Darienne Drake, 16, of Campbell River won her first tournament against all men.
