In Loving Memory ~
Born and lived in Campbell River all her life. Diane lived a full and active life, always putting her family first, and keeping us all together on special occasions and holidays. She enjoyed scuba diving where she first met Ali, boating and water skiing, camping, RVing, tennis, pickle ball, travelling and winters in Mexico.
She did clerical work at the unemployment office and waitressed at Painters Lodge, Salmon Point Resort and Mount Washington Ski Resort. She was a real people person with a large amount of treasured lifelong friends, namely her gal pals Doris, Susan, and Carole. She always enjoyed meeting new people and having more friends and always had a full social calendar.
Predeceased by her parents Ethel and Don Cox, brothers Roy and Rob Cox, sisters Donna Sawatzky and Sharon Eade, and nephews Gerry Grant and Jim Sawatzky. Brother-in-law Gary Parks.
Diane leaves behind her husband Ali of 42 years, son Mark Edwards (Cindy), and grandsons Kyle, Cameron, and Dawson. Sister Brenda Parks and sister-in-law Gladys Cox. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family has lost a very loving, kind, compassionate, and considerate woman.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
No funeral at Diane's request.
