Concerned about tax assault against the non-profit sector

Mayor and City Council:

I am writing to express my concern regarding your tax assault against the non-profit sector under the guise of saving taxpayer dollars by leveling a permissive tax levy on them.

As I understand it, one of them is on a city-owned building.

If you wanted to really save tax dollars, wouldn’t it be better to penalize the contractor working at the intersection of Highway 19A and 6th Avenue? Surely digging up the intersection and filling it in only to dig it up again cost more than the tax against the helpless non-profit sector.
