City of Campbell River reactivates Warming Centre at the Community Centre

Facility will serve as Warming Centre until Jan. 14 and will be reassessed Jan. 15

In response to the continued low overnight temperatures in the forecast, the City of Campbell River is re-activating a Warming Centre at the Community Centre, 401 11th Avenue.

The Warming Centre will be available from 11 p.m. on the evenings of Jan. 11, 12, 13 and 14, and run to 7 a.m. the following mornings.

The Warming Centre is open to all for short-term stays and visitors may bring pets on leashes and belongings, including bikes and carts.
