More than 200 people got a turkey dinner on Thursday, Dec. 21, thanks to Caremongering Campbell River volunteers and donors.

On the night of the winter solstice (longest night of the year) a free turkey dinner was shared at the Eagles Hall with about 100 people while 120 or more meals were delivered to people who face barriers that make it difficult to get out to community seasonal events.
