The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) postseason has ended prematurely for the Campbell River Storm.

Another 4-1 loss to the Kerry Park Islanders on March 6 forces the Storm out of the playoffs despite being the regular season champions. The Storm may have suffered a rude awakening after the Islanders beat them 6-2 in Game 3 (March 1) and kept their scoring touch in the next three games, scoring a combined 17 goals to the Storm’s six and winning all four games.
