Campbell River releases guide to help workers affected by Myra Falls closure

The transition document will help workers affected by local industry closures

Following the closure of the Myra Falls Mine, the City of Campbell River has made a resource guide available on their website to help staff laid off from the mine indefinitely, as well as other people in the community struggling with unexpected job loss, according to a press release issued Jan. 14.

The resource guide is called The Path Forward: Navigating Unexpected Job Loss by Barbara Perrey.
