In Loving Memory ~

Alicia Kathleen Meagher (Enns) passed away suddenly on January 11, 2024 at the age of 36, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Alicia was born on January 31, 1987 in Campbell River, BC. She had a bright spirit, infectious smile, and absolute radiance for life.

Growing up Alicia developed a passion for sports, specifically basketball, hockey, and baseball. Team sports not only highlighted Alicia's athletic abilities but also fostered her love for people and connections, cultivated within team camaraderie. Alicia created friendships throughout all stages and aspects of her life. From childhood friends to adult softball teams, she befriended so many along her journey.

She was wise and incredibly personable with a bright energy that gravitated others towards her. All whom will miss her deeply.

Alicia could always be found outdoors, whether it was camping, by a bonfire, or tending to her beautiful garden. She had a fierce love for nature, her animals, the west coast, and creating special memories with the people she cherished.

Family was everything to Alicia, and her recent move back to Campbell River brought her immense joy as it allowed her to be nearer to her parents and siblings. Raised in a large family, Alicia fulfilled a lifelong dream when she married her husband John and gave birth to her boys, Oliver (2021) and Henry (2023).

Alicia was an incredibly loving, proud, and caring mother. Her boys were her whole life, her pride and joy, and she loved watching them grow. Alicia was taken too soon, but her love for her boys will remain constant and shared with them by her loved ones always.

In addition to her husband and boys, Alicia leaves behind an immediate family that now has an irreplaceable void. Her parents Teresa and Kent O'Neill, and Richard and Barb Enns (Randy, Linden) as well as many siblings, nieces, and nephews; Shannon and Chad (Carson, Mason), Aaron and Sarah (Everett, Elsie), Brendan and Jaclyn, Teralee and Brandon (Sofia, Wyatt, Riley), Megan and Stefan (Gus, Otis). Their love for Alicia endures this unimaginable loss.

Alicia's family and friends were not ready to say goodbye. But take comfort in knowing she is at peace alongside her grandparents, auntie, and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, Alicia's family asks you to visit "The Meagher Family" on gofundme.com in support of John, Oliver, and Henry.

A celebration of life will be held in the coming months to honour this amazing mother, wife, daughter, and sister as she will be missed beyond measure.
